Two weeks ago I wrote about taking Claude Code off my laptop: one VM per person, Orca on it, driven from the laptop or the phone. On October 13 I presented it at our Tech My Breath Away breakfast, to about fifteen developers from several teams. One of them had been using it every day for a week, and the discussion taught me more than my slides did.

My Claude Code skills have been piling up since February: about thirty today, plus a CLAUDE.md, knowledge files and the prompts of my routines. I had never asked myself whether they still agreed with each other.

For a while now I have been refining my Claude Code workflow, or more generally my agentic engineering. I find myself writing skills in my Claude repository, everything organised, versioned, I have built my personal brain.

We'd been waiting a long time. Meta has used them internally for years, Graphite built a product out of them, GitLab has had them in its CLI since 2024 - and GitHub, the biggest code host, had nothing. Since late July, that's settled: stacked PRs are in public preview on every repository.

We've put a new site online. The old one told what Qraft is: a team of experts who build applications, and build them well. That's still true, but for a while now it hasn't said everything we do.

We sell expertise by the hour. For that to work, every hour has to land on the right client and the right topic — billable or not. My tool for this is Toggl, and I'm bad at maintaining it by hand: a forgotten timer running all night, entries never assigned to a client, whole gaps on busy days.

Ahead of the semi-annual review of one of our developers, I wanted to check an impression: his PRs seemed to get pushback in review more often than the others'. I asked Claude Code to classify the semester's 664 human review comments — 474 PRs, three devs compared. Call them Anatole (the dev under review), Barnabé and Côme.

The prompt in the title isn't mine — it comes from Sébastien Vian, CTO of Wisetax, hosted in our coworking space in Marseille. He drops it on LLM-generated Python, and it made me laugh enough to try it the same morning on a real script. The rewrite was nice; the conversation that followed turned out to be the interesting part.

I ran two multi-agent code reviews back to back — Claude Code's "ultracode" mode — and watched a chunk of my weekly limit disappear without ever seeing it go. The first review fanned out 31 agents across one PR; the second, 19. Each agent chewed through 50–80k tokens. The output, honestly: unreadable. Lots of volume, very little I could use. And I had no real-time sense of what it was costing me until I went looking.

gog (gogcli) is a CLI that talks to Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar and the rest of the Google Workspace API. I use it daily on my work account, and I wanted to plug in my personal Gmail to edit a shared document.
